Investigation and treatment of reflux symptoms, oesophagitis and selected complications, with endoscopy and additional physiological testing when indicated.
Oesophageal dysmotility and swallowing disorders
Assessment of dysphagia and suspected motility disorders. Manometry, pH testing and other investigations may be arranged through appropriate services to guide treatment.
Zenker’s diverticulum
Assessment of symptomatic Zenker’s diverticulum, including suitability for endoscopic treatment such as Z-POEM (Zenker’s peroral endoscopic myotomy).
Therapeutic upper GI endoscopy
Gastroscopy, stricture dilatation, Barrett’s-related endoscopic therapy in appropriate cases and other advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
